Update - 29.03.2014

On Thursday I met with my EPQ supervisor for the first time after receiving an email about who it would be. We discussed my 4 initial ideas using the SWOT analyses in my first blog post and I have now come to a conclusion about which of the ideas I will choose for my project. 

The first two we eliminated were idea 2 and idea 4 because they were too broad.

I decided to combine idea 1 and idea 3 because idea 1 was too vague but choosing the "aspect of media" to be the sitcom Friends, made it a lot more specific and focused. It also narrowed down the question for idea 3 so that was also more focused.

Over the next few weeks I am going to start researching into this topic as well as doing some side research on just the idea 1 question so I can make sure I am choosing the right question for me.

This is my first blog post for my EPQ (Extended Project Qualification). I decided to use Google's Blogger because it will allow me to upload pictures, documents and any other  information I may need to use during this project. I have also previously used it for past coursework and so I know a lot about it and how I will need to use it.
